Lombok Culinary - Sate Bulayak

Trip Advisor Indonesia - Lombok Culinary: Sate or Satay Bulayak is one of sate varian, originally made from Lombok Island - NTB (West Nusa Tenggara). Like no other satay, the Sate Bulayak is cooked with special ingredient from Lombok. The taste similar with curry but it is made from peanut sauce with coconut milk and palm sugar.

Thus, the sate itself cook from various meat, basically they use feedlots meat but it is possible using chicken or seafood.

The Bulayak from the origin of Sasak language means Lontong or boiling rice with palmyra or Borassus flabellifer leaf bale. The sate bulayak can easily found around Lombok island especially Mataram, Segigi, Kuta, others place. Alternative native culinary: Ayam Taliwang, Sate Rembige and Sate Tanjung.
